Compared to the equities markets, there are far fewer options from which to choose when making forex picks. Most traders focus on the following pairs: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, USD/CHF, USD/CAD, AUD/USD and NZD/USD. There are other pairs as well, such as those associated with emerging markets, but these may not be as liquid as some of the major pairs.
