ICON in the Gulch is expected to be an urban destination

Cleveland, OH (March 1, 2006) – On Tuesday, ka was with Bristol Development Group and Marketstreet Equities, Co. in Nashville, Tennessee for the groundbreaking ceremony of ICON in the Gulch, a 22-story, upscale mixed-use development consisting of chic residences and convenient street-level retail. When complete, this project will be one of the tallest built projects in ka’s portfolio.

“We are privileged to be working with Bristol and Marketstreet Equities on this project and being a part of the transformation of a historic neighborhood in downtown Nashville,” says Robert Weeks, project manager at ka. The structure will be the centerpiece for The Gulch area, a former railroad yard evolving into an urban community where people can live, work, and find entertainment.

When completed, ICON in the Gulch will feature 424 residential units, 8 levels of parking accommodating 880 spaces, and 25,000 square feet of street-level retail.
