Executive Architect: ka architecture
Design Architects: Field Paoli & Elkus Manfredi Architects
Created as a mixed-use regional center for north Denver, the 165 acre site features a one million square foot retail center, a mixed-use residential/office district and a residential village consisting of 500 units.
Inspired by the surrounding prairie, the design of the project incorporates arts and crafts styling in both its buildings and landscape. The retail component of the project is separated into two segments: the overall site power center and the pedestrian retail district.
As the executive architect for the pedestrian retail district, ka developed the contract documents and provided construction administration for sixteen buildings totaling approximately 300,000 square feet. AMC Theater, Macy's and JCPenney are anchors.
The project is in two phases: the first opened in the Fall of 2006 while construction of the second was completed in April 2008.
